Strength for Surgery

If you are going to be going into surgery and you are nevours or uneasy about it, then you may do this ritual to help give more energy to increase your strength for the surgery. You can make some adaptations in wording to preform this ritual if a loved one is going into surgery and you want to give them strength.

Before surgery case this spell during the third hour after sunrise or the first, or eighth hour after sunset.

Begin by speaking:

"On this day of great energy, in this hour or self-preservation, I call upon the ruling powers and the elements to aid me."

Anoint two light blue votave candles with cypress essentail oil. Inscribe on one the runic symbol of Beorc, the Goddess and on the other candle the symbol of Os, the God. Set the candles on the altar or if you do not have one, on a table and light them saying:

"I call upon the Lady and the Lord to stand by me. Let the power of they love and thy portection surround me, that his surgery be successful and I gain good health."

Drop rosemary and St. John's Wort leaves into the flames and say:

"By the power of the Lady and the Lord, by herb and by light, let ill health take flight! So more it be!"

Let the candles burn down. Bury the reamains.
