This card depicts a defficult situation that is reaching a climax, and there is an acompanying sense of relief that at last we are able to lance the boil. This is a necessary process and the understanding that is gained will help heal the wound.

The Three of Swords offers us a sense of persepctive on our current situation. We are able to see things in a more positive light, despite the fact that we may be going through dark times. We can no longer delude ourselves, and the insight we reccieve helps us to see things as they really are and puts our anguish into persepctive.

This card alludes to the fact that what we are going through is a peresquitive to our growth. Afterward we will be ready to wipe the slate clean and experience happier times.
