My Guide

I have had some wonderful experiences with my spirit guides. Once after
a discussion with friends on spirit guides, when I was still on a mind
boggling learning curve, I decided to see if I could meet my guide(s)
and performed my self-divised ritual meditation. Almost immediately I
transformed mentally into an oldish woman who lived in a cottage in
woods. She either was a witch or performed natural and spirit healings.
She would certainly have been viewed as a witch by her society. I stood
in old clothing but clean and neat. A woolen and cotton top and a
coarse skirt of some kind. The woods and valley was very green. I
thought of wanting to know her name and immediately again I saw it
written in ragged letters on rough paper "Moraigh" Of course I got so
excited that I was immediately woke.

I have developed a strong
intuition (and am sometimes taken by surprise by what others don't see)
and the best I can do to describe the way I communicated was that it
happened through my intuition. We have a constant contact and often
share a humerous perception of events of the day. She makes me laugh. I
can tell when a humourous thought comes from her or whether it is my
own. Anyway, she has been guiding me through a rather difficult period
in my life when my marriage was dissolving and my work (Managing Liquor
stores) which I only did to support the family proved to offer little
to reward for me personally as I hope you can imagine. She has seen to
it that I progress in my learning by leading me to experiences that I
would not otherwise have had. Sometimes infuriatingly slow and
sometimes frighteningly fast.

Am at internet cafe and my time's running out.

Moraigh: that sounds as if it could be Gaelic in nature.

Moraigh is a gaelic sounding name. The impression I get is that she lived in west England about 3-4 hundred years ago. Now this is interesting for her to have such a well-defined character and that she lived a physical life. It opens up all sorts of possibilities. She really lived, but whether this means that her spirit now serves as a guide or whther my experience was one of my own previous life memories is hard to tell. My interpretation is that the Spirit will reveal itself to me in an image that reflects my own personality. It will be something that means more to me personally than the popular conception of that image (a witch in my case).

I have another guide that made its presence felt. One evening after everyone had gone to bed. I was dozing off watching a boring tv movie, when I became aware of Moraigh's presence but also a second guide. I started shaking uncontrolably and thought that I was having a fit or something. I was not scared, in fact I was very comfortable with what was happening. I felt that I was being guided through an experience and was in good hands. I passed out and woke minutes(?) later. The second guide intrigued me and a week or so later when I asked I was informed that my other guide is the angel Michael. Understand that this 'conversation" happened at the intuitive level. This ties in with an experience that I had as a child in which I fell from a first floor balcony onto a concrete drive. I was concussed and on the way home I had a 'conversation' with an angel who told me that I would be all right and that no harm would come to me as I had important things to do in later life.

Those are the two guides who have introduced themselves to me.

I connect with them as often as I can - never often enough - and this happens mostly at dance sessions. I learnt trance dance but knew that I have been doing this since I was quite young. The term 'trance' has drawn some negative reactions so I usually describe it as a dream dance.
