The Mano Cornuto or Horned Hand is an ancient symbol used to protect against the evil eye. In Italian, mano means "hand" and corno means "horn". This symbol also represents the Horned God of the Witches, and is especially sacred to the Strega

The Mano Fico or figa, like the Mano Cornuto, is an ancient Italian or Etruscan symbol.said to ward off the evil eye, and is especially sacred to the Strega. Fico or figa means "fig." The Mano Fico is a fisted hand with the thumb interlaced in the fingers and represents the female genitals, and thus the Goddess.
