Hinduism is reguarded to be one of the worlds more oldest of relgions, and is still praticed by millions today. Its rooted in Indian but today, there are Hindus throughout the world. it was from Hinduism that Buddisim had branched off and then spread up into the eastern most part of Asia.

One of the things that makes Hindusim so unique and one of the reasons it has still surrived today where many of the old relgions have fallen away or faded, is becasue even sense its very begining roots, unlike many other beleif systems, Hindusim was never exclusive, but rather inclusive. It has absrobed within it many ideas and concepts from other releigons and peoples of which it has encountered over the years.

Including Christainy, in which Jesus himself, is reguarded as an avatar of Vishnu. One of the major Hindu gods.

One of the things which allows Hinudism to be so felxiable while still keeping many of its ancieant tradidions, is becasue of its complex system of beleif. The Hindus, beleive that all things, are connected, and ultimately all things, including the gods themselves are one.

Though on the one hand the Hindo pantheon had thousands of gods more then all could be named or listed, they belive that ultimately all the gods are one god, but in different manifestations of that god. In addition they beleive that the gods from all other relgions are a part of that same one source.

The best analogy to use to explain this concept, is to think of a great ocean, in which the world is made up of drops of that same ocean, which will one day return back to its origional source, so that all differeinces would be erased agian.
