To improve the texture of the skin and soothe rashes place the leaves and flowers of a handful of St. John's Wort in a glass jar, cover with olive or almond oil, stand for a month, strain and use as a comrpess to treat rashes and inflimation.
Some people develop a light sensitivity with this herb, so it is very imporantant not to go out into the sun directly after you have used it.
