PostSubject: King of Cups   Thu Sep 06, 2007 9:43 am

The King of Cups is often seen in the role of adviser on emotional matters and on the spiritual well-being of others. He may be a doctor, a counsellor, or a healer. He commands great respect and has a deep understanding of the human condition. But although he is honest and caring and has a wonderful capcity to emphathize with others, he remains detached.

He is reliable and well-meaning and offers us good advice. He genuinely wants to give of his time and be supportive to others, but finds it difficult to express his feelings. He reperesent a paradox inasmuche as he wants to engange in a deep intimate but at the same time he is fightend by such powerful desires.

He may be mebrassed about his emotions and has learned to master them, but even though this is beneficial for him professional, it gives rise to difficulties in personal relationships.
