Money Soup

This money soup is best made on New Years Eve, but can be made any time to attract money during the next year. Remove the silver before eating the soup.

Items needed:

1 coin of silver object
2 cups of water
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 large onion, minced
1 small head of green cabbage, shredded
4 cups of chicken stock
salt and pepper to taste.

Boil the silver object to serilize it. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the onion and saute till light brown. Add the cabbage and cool till tender. Toss in the silver object. Add chicken stock to vegetables and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer fifteen minitues. Add salt and pepper to taste.
