Well I could not uncover very much information about Taranis but I could not help but find him intresting, being one among the Celtic pantheon. What I was able to uncover about him, is that hs is the thunder-god of ancient Gaul, and master of the sky, and was woshipsed in Gaul and Britian. He is associated with the Wheel, and there is some speculation that human sacrifices might have been made to him. Representations of him include the image of a beared god with a thunderbolt in one hand and a wheel in the other, and he has been compared to the Roman god Jupitar though he was not as promiment as Jupitar was.
