The broom is perhaps the oldest tool in the book. It is an icon now comonly associated with witches though of course we all know real witches do not use the broom to fly, it has played an age old imporant part in Withcraft.
The broom played a key role in an ancient exocisim ritual, and it is always commonly used in banishings and clenshings, as it is a cleaning utencil, in magick it is also used to "clean" or sweep things away.
It might be a good idea to keep an old fasioned broom around if you can.
