Choosing Your Tarot

For those of you who are looking into getting a Tarot deck and do not already have one, I thought I would give you a few words about choosing your Tarot, there are quite litteraly 100s of different Tarots out there, some of which come right from traditional Tarot decks and some of which have been developed by Wiccas, and Neo-Pagans, and others that come from later Tarot decks, around the 1800s. As well thier are Tarot decks out there from a varity of different cultures. And though One Tarot deck is not nesscaiarly better then the other. One might be better for you then the other.

I myself along with reading also collect, and I have several different types of decks, and I can tell you, they do each work differently, they are not all the same, and it can seem a little daunting trying to choose one for yourself, so here are somethigns to keep in mind.

First of all you might want to do some research, either online or through books on the different types of Tarot out there, and where they come from and so forth to get an idea at the difference between some of them, and you need to understnad just what you want from your Tarot deck, though a part of it is also just intution and what appeals to you.

If you are out shopping around and you see a deck that for whatever reason seemsd to just really draw you or speak to you, then you should go for it.
