Herbs
Germant chamomile: The delicate foliage of the charmomile makes a pleasing contrast to the coarse leaves of catnitp and lemon balm.
Lemon balm: A strong grower with lemon-scented leaves, this herb's Latin name "melissa" comes from the Greek for "honeybee" indicating an attraction to bees.
Catnip: This herb is known to attract cats and repel rats. Its spikes of arematic pink-white flowers are also popular with bees.
Gathering
Aerial parts of lemon balm and aerial parts of catnip as needed. Pick German chamomile flowers as they appear.
