To ensure beautiful, thick hair and lovely long strong fingernails, observe this old folkloric custum on the growing moon and wish as well.

Every month on the New Moon, trim the smallest amount of your hair to encoruage it to grow all the thicker as the moon grows too. Save the trimmings.

Likewise each month trim or file your nails on the waxing moon. Keep the trimmings.

Secure both nail and hair trimmings in a muslin or silk bag, and tie off the top of the bag with a cherry pink or pale pink ribbon.

Wish for abundant growing hair and nails, and conitnuing health and beauty. As long as you addsome tirmmings reguarly throughout the year and add rose and lavender buds regularly, your beauty, strength, and health will continue to wax throughout your life, and so tis said you will never grow bald.
