Like its corresponding element of fire, the suit of Wands is full of enthusiasm. It is not surprising, therefore, that there is a great sense of disillusionment when we feel restricted in any way. This card underlines the danger of biting off more then we can chew.
We may feel oppressed, but the message of the Ten of Wands is that more often than not, this is self-imposed. It is up to us to find a way to relive ourselves of our burden. In our ignorance of what we could and could not do we may have borne too many responsibilities and the pressure it now beginning to take its toll.
We need to consider how best to lighten the load and delegateand even let go of certain plans. A new creative cycle can begin once we have relinquiahed some ties.
